riseria modenese

Parboiled Basmati rice

Golden Sella Parboiled Basmati rice is a Basmati rice variety that has been milled and parboiled, in other words partially cooked while still in its   husk before further milling.

The rice takes on a pale yellow hue during this process, giving it the name Golden Sella.

This rice has the flavour and visual appearance of pure Basmati, but with better cooking qualities and resistance to cooking and stirring. The parboiling process allows the rice to cook without losing its texture.

Golden Sella Basmati rice is highly versatile and cooks quickly, which means it can be used in a myriad culinary preparations.
